Mukim Lipat Kajang?

Do we know that the Kg Lipat Kajang Pahang where we come from, is actually officially identified and classified as a Mukim, i.e. Mukim Lipat Kajang, comprising of many small kampungs, more than 10 if I am not mistaken, listed, such as those "precincts" mentioned.
Only a Mukim has a Penghulu......
And guess what Mukim Lipat Kajang is comparatively small, very small shal I say, compared to other Mukims in the District of Temerloh, wherein there are 10 Mukims, the smallest is Mukim Songsang only 2331.90 hektar and the largest is Mukim Jenderak (Kuala Krau lah tu) seluas 83,433.10 hektar
Mukim Lipat Kajang is only seluas 3886.60 hektar while Mukim Semantan (74,364.30h), Mukim Sanggang (8809.70 h), Mukim Perak (20,987.80 h), Mukim Mentakab (10,364.30 h), Mukim Lebak (4404.80 h), Mukim Kerdau (13,214.50 h), and Mukim Bangau (? h)
(statistics quoted may not be exactly correct)
what, our kampong very small (ya lo...)....but our hearts and souls and aspirations and desires and ambitions and hopes are big, very big and very high and some of us are also actually physically big and high (tall) too...so must we worry about that small size of our village, afraid that one day all our descendents might get squeezed against one another......no, that will not happen, and we are here to ensure, or at least to prompt some efforts towards ensuring that Mukim Lipat Kajang or as we like to fondly call it Kg Lipat Kajang Pahang will expand, maybe not in terms of land area or acreage, but in many socio-political-economic aspects - that is what matters most, no point of living in a big house with nothing to fill your stomach, not even a drop of water to quench your thirst !!! (especially after 51 years of Merdeka) ...

Lipat Kajang people (or decendents) are encouraged to participate& contribute (Orang Lipat Kajang, atau keturunan, di jemput memberi sumbangan idea)

  1. I like the term "socio-economic-politoc" to the agenda for Mukim Lipat Kajang,Temerloh, Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia.

    But

There must be a strong will, interaction, independent from "encumberances"(political)and its resources i.e. mentally, physically and perseverance.

I know for a fact that when i was a small boy my grandfather used to have this lesung (lesung padi).
By the way let me introduce mysaelf.

I am Osman Abas (better known as Man Cheruk Panjang)and Asiah's grandchild. My father is Mohamed Marzuki, better known as Nong Zuki or Manja. While my mother is Zuiah Jaafar.

I think almost all, if not all, are the person in Lipat Kajang, Pahang and, from narration and stories, so is the rest of the Mukim's surrounding it.

I am the great grandchild of Moyang Haji Ahmad and moyang Haji Aminah.

It feel good to be from Lipat Kajang Pahang.

Honestly I reminiscence the good ol days where u have to walk through the bushes and buffalo trails from the shops in the baruh(kawasan Mesjid Liapt Kajang) to Cheruk Panjang.

I really miss the bare foot walk though. I really do it at this age especially during the wet season when im on holiday.

Back to the agenda, i miss the smell of freshly tuai padi and my grandmom freshly cook rice after being pounded with the big lesung.

Yes, paddy or padi. Why not? So many acres of wastage. Lets dwell on the subject of the agenda.

There are so many Likat Kajang's brain out there. Let's c where can we start.

Let's c what can we do for Lipat Kajang........thinking,thinking,thinking.

  4. face them head on, not like in war but as abang/adik make them realize that we are not "devil"s who will haunt them in their sleep, not going to shoot at their fortress for as long as they can hold on to it, what's past is past, the present is what we must look at and the future is what we envision and dream about...

they too must come out of their comfort zone, and accept the hard-hitting facts, no matter how bitter it tastes !!!

  5. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Saya tak cam le....maaf Kas. Kita ni kena tang mana...ayah ke mok. Tu nak tahu tu. Nak gelar amende. My lias tu Pak Ngah mesti pangkat tu jugak. Kena panggil apa sebab tak cam....rasa kenai rasa dok. Jgn mare Kas.

    Anyway again thank you.

There is 6 of us. One is trying to be in the blog. Same namesake as my Lias. Inviting the rest to be in the blog (the other 4 are born everywhere else in Malaysia but a true LKP by nature and thinking)

Invited also anak Pak Ngah Rashid(polis, dah pencen dah) and trying to rope those that i know.

Luv to be back in Lipat Kajang, Pahang. Serene, quiet, humid....and miss my parents, relatives and the atmosphere.

Agreed in facing them head-on. have to be the devil advocate(when the time requires)to move them of their comfy seat as i have written in "membangunkan LKP"

Push them and all along nurture them with facts and open them to the true reality of life to buck them forward.

  7. Kalau deme deme tu pandir dah lama dah Lipat Kajang maju, bukan macam sekarang ni.

The early days of Lipat Kajang Pahang was all cohesive, teamwork, integrity, honest and they have the bondage feeling and sense of belonging.

They HELP EACH OTHER. They LOOK AFTER EACH OTHER. They CARE FOR EACH OTHER.

Where have all those principals and sense of belongings gone to?
Where have they place their sense of desire/nafsu and for what purposes are they there, why are they in this part of the world, Lipat Kajang Pahang.

Kita sama sama miskin.

Masa kita dah tiada. Masa kita dah dipanggil. Masa yang dah tak de bagi kita. Sediakan, kerjakan, siapkan, sempurnakan ,demi masa hadapan Lipat Kajang Pahang.

masalahnya masa zaman moyang awok ke zaman aki awok (i.e. zaman ayoh kon) things were quite ok, so it seemed to me 'cos i only looked at it all from a smallboy's eyeview and that was how i understood it, semangat kekeluargaan yang erat masih wujud
seperti yang kon dah kata dulu, yang celik sikit suddenly become "smart" tidak lagi memikirkan kepentingan kelompok, atau komuniti, atau kampong secara keseluruhan tapi sudah menjurus ke arah melampiaskan "kepentingan diri sendiri dan keluarga sendiri sahaja" (kite faham apa maksud "keluarga sendiri" disini, personal interest and greed had conquered/convoluted their hearts and minds, hence the kampong had become "polarised" > and when there is "polarisation" in a community, big or small, and there is no one who is "liberated" enough to champion the problem, then we have over a few decades, our present Kg Lipat Kajang, Pahang > that is the plain truth

now i'm not sure if this blog was created at a time when the sickness afflicting Kg LKP is at its worst or that it was just coincidentally timely that this blog came up (for whatever reason) - the fact is we now have a platform, a forum where we can now, and we are doing it, merge all our voices, our opinions, our views, our aspirations, our hopes, and our desperations into unison, and see how best we can help to alleviate the "miseries" suffered by Kg LKP and its people, if we want to do it, that is......if we do not want to do it, then its really not worthwhile all of us appearing our here in this cyberspace, in the first place !!!

absence of true genuine trustworthy leadership, dissented and backward thinking, jealousies and mistrusts, moral/religious decadence (to some extent) and ......victim of "political slavery" (hopefully i will be able elaborate on this later on)
