  1. Bukan love of the British but the diplomacy and the wise thinking of the elders have helped the folks to lead a normal life.

I was told also that the Late Sultan Abu Bakar and late Dato Hussein (TPM grand father)used to come and visit LKPahang. The late Dato Hussein it seems is a good friend of Moyang Haji Ahmad. He was the Tuan DO of Temerloh then, as told.

The late Sultan Abu Bakar used to visit and beradu, while on his way to Kuala Lipis, so i was told and narrated.

I think both of them respect and like Moyang Haji Ahmad for his stand and independence. Moyang Haji Ahmad will mudek ke Hulu, to his other wife, so i was told, while the Sultan had his ceremonies and celebrations. I was told that he does not like the noise and attention.

Lipat Kajang memang aman then and now, i think.

    terkenang semasa dulu.

Those were the happy times when the Sultan visited us and brought along dancing girls, he danced and we danced. Reminiscence.
