In my life at Lipat Kajang, I have come across three mesjid (at various phases of the kampong history) which had been used as the common prayer house for the folks of Lipat Kajang.
One was a wooden mesjid built off the ground like a Malay house. It was demolished (I suppose) when they built the newer mesjid. It was somewhere where 'rumah Mat Darat' (late) stands (is the empty house still there?).
They built the other (newer) mesjid, now almost just a skeleton, being used as a storage for the existing mesjid odds and ends.
And lastly they built the present mesjid after they abandoned the older (newer) mesjid.
Years ago and before that they must have other mesjid buildings that they used and that we do not know about, too far (?) back in Lipat Kajang history.
Lipat Kajang people (or decendents) are encouraged to participate& contribute (Orang Lipat Kajang, atau keturunan, di jemput memberi sumbangan idea)
